The Glenn Curtiss Elementary art program will be made available to all students in grades kindergarten through six. The goal of this program is to provide the tools and materials to students so that they are able to exhibit various and diverse forms of self expression. The program is based on a long term learning environment over a span of seven years starting with basic concepts, ideas and materials and building each year with a more complex and challenging program. The program will employ the art elements of line, shape, color, texture, value, form, and space along with the art principals of balance, contrast, proportion, pattern, rhythm, emphasis, unity and variety.
