Welcome to the Counseling and
Student Support Services Page
We believe it is important to educate the whole child. Hammondsport Central School offers a variety of counseling services to our students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The district offers preventative individual and group counseling services, social-academic groups, and intensive therapeutic mental health services. For the intensive mental health services, parents/guardians are required to participate in an intake process through the onsite Steuben County Mental Health social worker.
Teachers, staff, and parents/guardians are able to refer children for school-based counseling services based upon educational impact. The goal is to help students and families identify their strengths and be solution focused.
