This past week students in our 4th grade classes heard the story "America's White Table." They learned about the significance of the white table, and helped to set two in our elementary hallways. Veteran's were welcomed into the classrooms to share about their experiences.

Yesterday, author John Schu visited Hammondsport and presented to students in grades 2nd-8th. Each student received the book, "The One and Only Ivan." Mr. Schu shared his passion and love for reading and writing stories with our students. Thank you to Mrs. Robarge for making this special event happen!

Hammondsport Central School has an immediate provisional opening for the position of Guidance/CSE Secretary in the High School Office. Successful candidate will need to take and pass the Typist civil service examination when it is next offered to maintain the position. Position is 12 months and has access to health insurance, paid vacation days, and NYS retirement. Start date is as soon as possible.
